The Most Recommended Experiences

Students meet at the Foundation’s house to participate in diverse immersion activities to practice and improve their Spanish understanding of Ecuador and join in camaraderie with volunteers and Foundation staff.

All activities are free of cost. Enjoy the hands-on classes on Ecuadorian cooking, drinks-making, chocolate, salsa dance, Zumba, exotic fruits, and more.

There are also afternoon excursions to museums, local restaurants with traditional food, a tattoo and piercing shop, traditional markets, spas, and more.

These afternoon activities are hosted by our local coordinators, who will encourage you to speak Spanish and help you with translation as necessary.

All of these activities are optional.
