We combine Spanish classes and excursions each day. Our lodge is in the Cuyabeno reserve in the heart of the Amazon jungle where you can observe a variety of flora and fauna such as anacondas, piranhas, and pink dolphins in addition to unforgettable Amazon sunsets. Volunteer with fantastic wildlife rescue projects in the Amazon jungle. Help animals rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking. Rehabilitate these animals and help them return to the wild.

Quito-Puente de Cuyabeno-LodgeTravel by bus (one day before, approximately eight hours to the bridge ofCuyabeno). Then by canoe along the Cuyabeno River (approximately three hours), ourbilingual guides, certified by the Ministry of the Environment, will explain about the floraand fauna of the sector. Arriving at Canangueno Lodge for lunch, relaxing time, and thenupstream we will visit the Laguna Grande to observe a beautiful sunset and return we willobserve alligators and after dinner, night walk.
Visit to Native Community – Shaman House:After breakfast, by rowing canoe, we will arrive at a path that will take us about an hourand a half, to visit the community Siona Taraveya of Tarapuy, on the riverbank of theCuyabeno River, under the care of our guides, who will explain the culture and traditions(Shaman). After that, we will move to the community of Seoqueya, where with a family, wewill do the demonstration of casabe (cassava bread making), we will also find handicraftsmade by local people, such as bracelets, necklaces, shigras and ceramics. In theafternoon, back to the Lodge, by canoe rowing along the Cuyabeno River, we will enjoythe magic of nature watching and listening to the singing of birds, monkeys, pink dolphinsand much more. Dinner.
Laguna Grande:After breakfast, we will sail along the river Cuyabeno, appreciating the majesty of nature,among them, we will have the opportunity to observe pink dolphins, great variety ofspecies of birds, monkeys, until we reach the Laguna Grande, to take a tour around themacrowolves in search of anacondas, and after lunch we will walk through the primaryforest. Our guides will explain about the lake ecosystems, flora and fauna, as well as theuse of medicinal plants, we will enjoy swimming in a colorful sunset on the horizon ofCuyabeno to photograph this unique experience and much more. Return to the Lodge anddinner.
Direct contact with nature:After breakfast, canoe rowing, upstream, we will enjoy the charm of nature, accompaniedby our guide who will explain the diversity of fauna and flora, observation of butterflies,parrots, where we will also appreciate an atmosphere of total relaxation. Return to theLodge for lunch. In the afternoon we will enjoy a two-hour walk in the primary forest, wherewe will have direct contact with a variety of species such as frogs, toads, ants, spiders,insects, etc. As well as a variety of flora, such as orchids, heliconias, ceibos (the largest treein the Amazon), fungi, etc. Return to the Lodge to swim in the river and after dinner a nightwalk. The guide will make a reminder with a small talk of everything observed on the tour.
Canangueno Lodge-Puente-Lago-Agrio-Quito:Observation of animals by the Cuyabeno River at six a.m. and then return tobreakfast. Departure from the Lodge at 09:30 a.m. to the bridge, then take the bus to thedestination.

The Ecuadorian Pacific coast has a perfect climate. Being on the equator, the water maintains a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius all year round. Take Spanish classes on the beaches of Montañita and surfing classes in the afternoon. You will also enjoy visiting the tourist attractions of the region, including the mangroves and the Isla de la Plata.
On the coast we have a fantastic volunteer option teaching English at a local school or volunteering at an organic farm in the region where you will learn sustainable agriculture.

Can you imagine receiving Spanish classes in the magnificent Andes? We offer the option of Spanish classes doing it in a century-old hacienda next to the Cotopaxi Volcano or in an indigenous community in Otavalo. We combine Spanish teaching with excursions to lakes, hikes to volcanoes, indigenous markets visits, biking, and horseback riding.
We also offer volunteer projects in the Andes mountains working with a group of indigenous women or teaching English at a local school.
Quito is a beautiful modern city in the Andes located at 2,850 meters above sea level, it is an eclectic city where indigenous, Spanish, and Mudejar culture mix. The city of Quito was declared by UNESCO as the first world heritage site. Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. One hour from Quito is the Cotopaxi glacier and 1 hour 20 minutes away is the cloud forest. You can take Spanish classes at our school located in a cosmopolitan and traditional neighborhood in Quito where you can enjoy an infinite number of cultural immersion activities.
Our vibrant capital of Ecuador has many needs and we offer a variety of projects where you can volunteer. Volunteer projects include helping in: daycares, local schools, organizations for the elderly, hospitals, urban fauna restoration, etc. The possibilities are great, you can do volunteering or pre-professional internships in different fields.
